This upgrade ensures richer detail and greater dynamic control across a wide range of listening gear.
Enhancing the design further, the four power transistors have been upgraded to PHPT610030NPK models, improving transient current handling. Additionally, the seven OPA1612A op-amp ICs now use a SOIC-8 package, offering significantly better thermal stability. The improved pin layout and electrical characteristics reduce latency and crosstalk, resulting in cleaner signal transmission and purer audio reproduction.
Fully Discrete and Fully Balanced Portable Audio
A groundbreaking product in the portable audio market, the N7's DAC is constructed from 128 discrete resistors, with 32 resistors per channel across four channels forming a fully differential balanced structure. This truly demonstrates a 1-bit circuit architecture comprised of fully differential discrete components.
Discrete components are used throughout the LPF closed-loop gain, negative feedback level, and circuit architecture, ensuring high-performance overall circuit amplification. The AMP utilizes audio-specific field-effect transistors (JFETs) for the differential input stage, and paired-package transistors for the voltage amplifier and power output stages, resulting in low internal resistance and strong load-driving capability.
Sound Foundation
The power system, combined with 1-bit circuitry, provides completely independent power supply for the digital and analog circuits. Within the digital circuitry, high-level and low-level logic circuits are also completely independent, ensuring that the transmission and amplification process is free from interference from clock signals, resulting in a cleaner audio signal
