All of us here at Campfire Audio are incredibly grateful and honored to have had the support of music lovers and the HiFi community since the creation of Campfire’s first IEM ten years ago, and even further back, to when our audio engineering journey started with cables and amplifiers under the ALO Audio umbrella. We truly could not have made it this far without the engagement, enthusiasm, and passion of the community and we hope that our work has been able to repay that enthusiasm with bringing listeners to a closer, deeper enjoyment of music.
Andromeda 10 is a celebration of and retrospective on the journey of the past ten years. Taking the iconic Andromeda line; expanding its architecture, incorporating a decade of acoustic engineering experience and technique to elevate its performance while calling upon so much of what made the original special.
A LEGACY CONTINUED
Since the original Andromeda was first released, Campfire has issued a number of revisions, refinements, and special editions of the signature Andromeda sound. Andromeda 10 represents the biggest advancement and re-imagining to date.
THE POWER OF 10
Andromeda 10 features an all-new, ten-balanced-armature driver configuration, doubling the quantity found in the original, five-driver architecture of the classic Andromeda.
With four low, four mid, and two high frequency balanced armatures, Andromeda 10 highlights the best in what BAs have to offer - clarity, speed, detail, and resolution - by using a large array of premium balanced armatures and pairing them with a range of design and acoustic engineering techniques to impart depth, layering, immersion, and cohesion to Andromeda 10’s sonic performance.
AN ELEVATED CLASSIC
Andromeda 10 SE uses a precision machined PVD black stainless steel shell and is available in two striking styles; with gold or black real Damascus steel lids.
Each version features gold fastener rings with a contrasting 'CA' logo inlay. Andromeda 10 is also the first Campfire IEM to feature 2-pin connectors.
APPLYING TECHNIQUE - ANDROMEDA 10 INTERNAL TECHNOLOGIES - HYBRID CAPACTIOR CROSSOVER
Aiding with Andromeda 10’s driver cohesion is a vintage ceramic-film capacitor chosen specifically for its compatibility and synergy with Andromeda 10’s internal architecture. This special component helps to seamlessly blend frequency compartmented driver assemblies and to elevate and unify its sonic presentation.
NOISE ELIMINATION MID CIRCUIT (NEMC)
New and unique to Andromeda 10, is our newly designed Noise-Elimination Mid-Circuit (NEMC), with Andromeda’s four premium mid-frequency balanced armatures housed and wired in a newly designed configuration that eliminates extraneous ringing and noise that can have a subtle presence in balanced armatures and can be even more present when stacking identical drivers. This circuitry coalesces with the other techniques and internal design of Andromeda 10 to contribute to a clean, clearly delineated presentation.
TUNED ACOUSTIC EXPANSION CHAMBER (TAEC)
A longstanding component among Campfire IEMs, and a technology found in the classic Andromeda and other iterations, Campfire’s proprietary Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber (TAEC) is incorporated into Andromeda 10’s internal architecture. This carefully crafted tuning chamber is coupled with Andromeda’s drivers. carefully and precisely manipulating the driver’s raw performance to achieve specific frequency response targets and increase spatial imaging and staging.

FUSING THE CLASSIC AND THE MODERN
Andromeda 10's sound signature pays homage to the classic Andromeda sound with improved technical performance and tonality, making Andromeda 10 the perfect synthesis of Campfire's all-BA line of IEMs.
CUSTOM, PREMIUM CABLE
Andromeda 10 SE units come with a small-batch, premium cable designed specially for Andromeda 10.
This cable features 7N OCC gold-plated copper conductors with y-split and terminations that are custom designed by Campfire's in-house engineering team.
GOLD-PLATED COPPER CONDUCTORS
With six, thick gauge, gold-plated copper conductors, Andromeda 10 SE's cable was specially created to sonically accent Andromeda's tuning. Much like Andromeda 10 itself, this cable highlights precision, detail, and staging while imparting a touch of color.
The added touch of gold and black wire enamel and signature Campfire design-language come together to make this cable a perfect match in both sonics and aesthetic.
