Breakthrough Darwin III DAC architecture
Developed entirely in-house by HIBY and protected by a national invention patent, the full audio chain processing architecture-DARWIN-evolves once more.
The 3rd-generation Darwin architecture, DARWIN III, redefines the entire high-definition audio processing workflow starting from its core processing architecture design.
High FPGA capacity
The high-performance FPGA core in Darwin III contains a whopping 100K logic unit and 212 high-speed DSP units.
R2R Technology
The architecture employs a high-precision R2R resistor network for digital-to-analogue conversion.
High-speed electronic switches drive voltage-dividing resistors within the network, where distinct voltage divisions precisely convert to analog signals matching the original encoding.
This eliminates high-frequency noise and digital artifacts from modulation, delivering more natural, transparent sound with rich musicality!
R2R Power Supply

Sankofa / Al Tonality Simulation
Thanks to the extraordinary processing power of the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS8550 and high-capacity FPGA delivering CPU+GPU+NPU+FPGA+DSP capabilities we, after sampling in HiBy Lab and learning tone via Al Analysis model, are able to clone and simulate the sonic characteristics of various classic audio devices (such as LP, MD, CD, cassette decks, reel-to-reel tape decks, etc.) through its Sankofa feature. This cloning can be then applied in real-time within the RS8 Gen 2 global audio playback process.

High Voltage Large Battery
